Pacific Private Money provides funding for real estate investors in the greater San Francisco Bay area and eastward through the greater Sacramento Metropolitan area. The PPM team is known for its commitment to client service and attention to detail.

Pacific is an active member of both the California Mortgage Association and the American Association of Private Lenders. Both organizations exist to promote education and excellence in the private lending industry.

Mark began a career in real estate in 1982.  For over 20 years Mark was responsible for buying, selling, financing and managing residential and commercial real estate for a closely held company in the Bay Area. He earned a degree in Business Administration with a focus in finance and accounting from the prestigious Menlo School of Business Administration. During his career as a real estate principal, he became an expert at using leverage to execute real estate strategies, successfully closing over 100 purchase and refinance loans, ranging from $100,000 to $7,500,000.

Since founding Pacific Private Money in 2008, the company has originated over 250 privately-funded loans.  Pacific is among the fastest growing private lenders in California, earning a well-deserved reputation for performance and transparency.

Mark is an expert at property valuation, mortgage lending and the new lender compliance laws. His strength with numbers and attention to detail, coupled with years of hands-on transactional experience makes him especially skilled at evaluating loan scenarios and originating sensible private money loans for the company’s growing list of private individual investors.

He has lived and worked his entire life in the Bay Area—a second-generation real estate investor—and has long-standing professional relationships and community affiliations.

Mark is a licensed real estate broker under the California Dept. of Real Estate, license No. 1811186.  He is a licensed Mortgage Loan Originator, NMLS No. 331091.

Louis Bardis, Funding Coordinator / Investor Relations

Louis Bardis has over 5 years’ experience in mortgage banking and loan brokering. Louis received a Master of Science in Financial Analysis (MSFA) from the University of San Francisco, and has passed the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) Level 1 exam.

Louis is competent in Financial Asset Valuation, Economics, and Derivatives. He brings a unique skill-set in mitigating risks, structured finance, and market analysis, and likes working on complex transactions.  He is also an active real estate investor in Sonoma County.

Louis is a licensed real estate salesperson under the California Dept. of Real Estate, license No. 01887699, and a licensed Mortgage Loan Originator, NMLS No. 372531.

Christopher Carey, Loan Officer

Christopher Carey started his career in real estate finance in 1991, when he began working for Household Finance writing seconds in the Bay Area. From there, he began writing Alt-A and A-paper mortgage loans with Long Beach Mortgage and later Headlands Mortgage.

After several years as a top-producing mortgage sales person, he began a new chapter by becoming a wholesale lender rep for Green Point Commercial. As their Bay Area representative, he grew relationships with nearly all of the Northern California mortgage brokers, underwriting commercial real estate scenarios and delivering exceptional service levels.

Chris has the experience and ability to quickly understand and underwrite nearly every type of real estate loan. He now assists investors and borrowers by providing high standards of communication, friendly service and reasonable lending terms.

Chris is a licensed real estate salesperson under the California Dept. of Real Estate, license No. 01212515 and a licensed Mortgage Loan Originator, NMLS No. 377644.

Kevin Green, Loan Officer

Kevin Green has over 13 years’ experience in real estate and mortgage originations. Kevin’s background includes production, underwriting, loan structuring, and property valuations within commercial, multi-unit, and residential properties. Kevin is also an active real estate investor in California, Utah, and Nevada.

Kevin’s experience includes sales manager for one the largest mortgage banker/brokers in San Francisco. More recently, Kevin was an account executive for a large private money lending firm located in San Francisco.  Kevin received a Bachelor of Arts in Communications from Chico State University and a Master of Science in Business Management from Notre Dame De Namur University.

Kevin is a licensed real estate salesperson under the California Dept. of Real Estate, license No. 01241542 and a Licensed California property and casualty insurance producer, CDI No. 0G89362.

Gus Menendez, Loan Officer

Gus brings 16 years of private money lending experience to Pacific. Born and raised in South Florida, Gus got his start in sales at the age of 18 years old.   At the age of 20 he was given the opportunity to work for one of the largest hard-money lenders in South Florida where he went on to work for the next 16 years.  A perennial top-producer for the company, he generated in excess of $12 million per year in loans funded. Having always been fond of the Bay Area, Gus decided to relocate after being offered the chance to join the Pacific Private Money team.

Jamie Seaton, Production Coordinator

Jamie began her career in real estate in 2000 as a property manager responsible for over 100 homes in Sonoma County.  In 2002 she received a real estate appraiser’s license.  For the next 8 years she appraised properties all over Northern California from Mendocino to Santa Clara County.  Jamie is highly knowledgeable and experienced at valuing diverse properties of varying complexity.

Jamie is also experienced in both loan origination and residential real estate transactions.  In 2010 she joined Pacific Private Money, and is continuing in her education of real estate lending practices.  Jamie volunteers her time to work with teenagers in Marin County as well as various organizations in Sonoma County.

Tami Ireland, Loan Servicing

Tami started in real estate field working for her father’s company.  She had her hand in all aspects of real estate including private money lending, conventional loan brokering, property management and sales.  She received her real estate license in 1995.   She has previously worked at Frank Howard Allen and All California Mortgage.  For the past 9 years, Tami has specialized in Loan Servicing Management.  Previously working for another private money lender, she managed fractionalized Trust Deeds as well as a Mortgage Pool.
